Desigual Logotype for Middle East Market

2012/02/12

DesigualDuring the European Design Conference in Rotterdam, in May of 2011, Reza Abedini, Iranian graphic designer, was asked to redesign Arabic logotype of the Spanish retail brand, Desigual.

Desigual
Reza Abedini’s logotype conforms to the Desigual visual identity. The Arabic letterforms follow cap height and x-height guidelines of Desigual Latin logotype. Although the designer has been faithful to the Latin identity, he has exerted some Persian-Arabic calligraphy characteristics such as the pen slant trace.
