These are the artworks made by students of Sculpture for the course of “Graphic Design” in the Department of Visual Arts of Fine Arts Faculty, Tehran University, under the supervision of Mohammadreza Abdolali.

They were supposed to choose a free concept in order to be materialized in the form of sculptural typography. The concepts behind artworks have a wide range from jewelry and product to landscape design. Some of them preferred to present conceptual artworks based on stories, movies, poetry, etc. The materials consist of brass, Plexiglas, wood, gypsum and clay. Unfamiliar with letterform structures, students participated in a workshop about type design regarding classic Islamic scripts such as Square Kufi, Naskh, etc.
